Stephen & Alicia's New Home In Whitney, Texas All Outside Pictures |
We are looking at the home generally to the northwest.
The bottom floor has an approximately 11' overhang all across the front and the side. This home is ideal for entertaining. Guests can circulate inside the home and around the pool. And if it rains, this large porch keeps everyone dry.
The home has a combination of river rock and stone facade.
A close-up of the large double doors and porch.
This picture was taken near the fence on the west side of the property. The entire back yard is enclosed with high quality, thick gauge iron fencing.
They didn't cut corners on the decking around the pool, did they? There is a lot of room for guests to circulate and the raised aggregate surface is the best there is for sure footing. I also like the platform built around the diving board. This allows you to easily step onto it from any side, not just the back.
The grass is watered from the well
The pool house has a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom (right side). This will serve as a guest house. The left side of the building is where the sellers kept their yard equipment. We will be turning it into a media room.
A closer look at the pool house.
The guest house and pool bath interior shot.
The tool shed in the guest house.
Another picture showing the spaciousness of the pool decking. The master bedroom is to the right of the picture.
Shot towards the home from the guest house.
This is the back porch located off the family room and formal living room.
The sellers told us in the late afternoon, the sun sets over the trees in the distance. He said they get to enjoy some awesome sunsets. As you can see, that will never change because the home sits so high on the lot.
Notice how green the grass is on the first tier and all around the home? The home has its own well so the only cost to keep it in perfect condition is the electricity to run the pump. The grounds are perfectly manicured.
Horses are allowed in the resort and since we own 4.389 acres of land we are permitted to have up to two horses. Rules are you can have one horse per 2 acres of land, and this would make a great pasture for them. It is to the west of the home down the hill. We will be adding additional gates for the horses.
This picture is taken near the corner of the lot with the pasture shown above to the right. Behind the camera is dense foliage with all kinds of wildlife, including roadrunners, turkey, and deer. As you can see, we have a lot of property with this house.
The large open pasture to the west of the home gives you an additional look at size of the property.
The lot drops down to a white rock creek bed, dry at this time of year. We actually own both sides of this creek. You can see the back of the pool house at the top right.
Another view right up the back of the property to the pool house.
The three car garage and covered parking area. I would hate to think how much this concrete would cost now. The concrete pad measures 90' wide at its widest point. The circular drive is out of the picture to the right.
The water well. The seller says he has gone through all of the zones and never run out of water in the storage tank. This picture also gives you a good idea of how high this lot sits.
There are three propane tanks for the home. They heat the home and the pool.
